Firm Practice Areas Public Finance We have represented the City of Philadelphia and various municipal departments, as well as conduit borrowers, authorities, swap/derivatives providers, and underwriters in the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable bonds. We have also participated in Pennsylvania Higher Educational Facilities Authority transactions. The firm is a nationally recognized municipal finance firm listed in the Red Book.     Intellectual Property & Entertainment Law We represent writers, publishers and other publishing industry professionals in contract drafting, review and negotiation and intellectual property research, registration, and maintenance issues. We have vast experience with publishing agreements with major and independent publishing houses, option agreements (writer side and producer side), agency agreements, co-author/collaboration agreements, work-for-hire agreements, and license agreements. We also vet manuscripts for potential legal issues. We conduct intellectual property research, searches, and draft search reports, and prepare, file, and maintain copyright registrations and trademark applications and registrations. We also represent a select clientele (artist and company side) in the music industry and handle all aspects of drafting, review and negotiation of management, agent, demo, production, recording, publishing, and distribution contracts. Estate Planning & Administration We draft wills, codicils, powers of attorney for finances and health care, and revocable and irrevocable trusts, including insurance trusts. We also assist in property transfers and deed changes. We also handle all aspects of estate administration including will probate, intestacy, estate litigation, guardianships, creditor and beneficiary notification and maintenance, and inheritance and estate tax returns.
